Great little PC, takes very little space on my desk and looks awesome. It is very quiet and boots fast. I just wish I had gone for the somewhat more powerful version.

Good little machine: My wife got one to replace the old XP box she uses for browsing the web from home, and even as a complete linux novice, she had Linux Lite installed from an external CD drive, with Firefox & Chrome in a couple of hours. Can't get the WiFi to connect, but haven't really looked at it yet.

I installed a second one of these brilliant little systems. This latest installation with dual monitors, one HD and one VGA using the respective connectors. Works a treat, and can't believe that it is so quiet and unobtrusive. I also asked for a memory upgrade to 8GB for this system, which Novatech did at very reasonable cost. It is worth getting Novatech to do this for you as there is only 1 DIMM slot, so they have to take out the 4GB DIMM and replace it with an 8GB DIMM. They very kindly offset the cost of the 8GB with a credit from the 4GB that they took out, so worth asking. However, for fairly light use, 4GB should be plenty of memory. The hardest part of this installation was deciding which monitor to attach it to!! A brilliant little system.

I bought the "No OS" version of this machine and installed Ubuntu 13.10 on it via USB, for use doing software development and testing. So far the machine has been fantastic, even handling the Unity desktop nicely. It is silent, and sits on the stand behind my screen running at 1080 via the HDMI. If you are looking for a very cost effective home PC - this will work nicely in combination with Ubuntu.

Ordered one for a client and I am very impressed by the quality of this product. Pros: Comes with a sturdy stand or a metal tray to mount it on the rear of a monitor, which is what I did in the end. It is incredibly compact and almost silent in operation. When tucked behind a monitor you wouldn't know it was there. Good connectivity with 6 USB slots, VGA and HDMI display outputs, ethernet and built in WiFi. Cons: I don't want to run this system down, as I am very pleased with it, but there are a few little limitations that you should be aware of. I was surprised that there is VGA and not DVI output, which means you might have to hang an adaptor off it if you don't have a HD monitor that can take a HDMI connector. The answer is to either get the correct lead so that you don't need an adaptor, or get a HD monitor so that you can us the HDMI cable instead, so only a minor observation. Memory also a bit limited. Comes with 4GB and can only be expanded to 8GB max using the single memory slot. 4GB is enough though. This isn't a games system, but it is ideal for home/office for word processing, browsing, emails etc. No optical drive, mainly because there is no room for it. OK, so most things these days can be downloaded from the internet, but there is still a lot of legacy stuff around on DVD (or even CD). Also, it comes with a utility to create a restore DVD, but how do you do that without a DVD drive?!!!! So if you buy this then get an external, USB powered, DVD writer to go with it, because you will need it. They cost very little, so don't let this small point put you off. It's smallness works against it in some ways, especially if you have a lot of peripherals to connect to it and want to have it on your desktop. The desktop stand is fairly hefty, but there could still be a stability problem if you have a lot of cables to connect to it. If this is the case for you then I would recommend mounting it on the back of your monitor instead, as the cable connections would then be hidden from view and there wouldn't be any stability issues. The metal mounting bracket is excellent quality and is included in the package. It makes for a very sturdy fixing, and the PC is held in place by a thumbscrew, very similar to a camera tripod mount. All in all, a brilliant system, high quality feel, good accessories, and I can recommend it. I considered giving it 4 stars rather than 5 due mainly to the memory limitations, but it has enough memory for the tasks it will typically be used for, so I can't mark it down on this. For the use that it would be put to though, 4GB or 8GB is plenty. Full marks to the Novatech pre-sales support on this - very helpful. {Thank you Sam}. Also, full marks to Novatech for allowing you to have this system shipped with the excellent Windows 7 operating system, instead of that horrible, dumbed-down, absolutely awful, yucky horrible Windows 8 t*rd of a system. (He turns and spits on the floor for effect).
